Wellington, April 27 The Bisley team was sworn m this morning, thia being necessary for service outside the colony. Colonel Collins, it bidding the men farewell, referred to the great difficulty experienced m Iselecting a team where so many were entitled to a place, if able to make the necessary arrangements to accept the Government's invitation. Ha believed the team, though perhaps nt the strongest the colony could send, would worthily defend the Kalapora Cup, and, referring to the selection of Major Hughes to command, said he was one of the best officers m the colony for such a mission. Major Hughes, m replying, said he had no anxiety as to the result of the trip, and hid mapped out a system of practice, etc, which he hoped would be effectual at Home. The team left for Home by the Corinthie this afternoon.
