There was a fairly good attendance at the Geraldine live stock sale yesterday, but nearly all classes of stock met with a poor demand, peu after pen being passed. The entry of sheep was about 10,500, sales being effected at the following prices . - Fat ewes 15h 9d, fat lambs (light weights) 15s. 'Store sheep : Cull lambs 8s 4d, store lambs 10s lid, 12s 2d, 123 lOd, 13s 5d to 14s 6d ; 2, 4, 6, and 8 tooth halt'bred ewes 19s 4d; 4, 6, and 8 tooth crossbred ewa3 19s 4d, 20s 6d to 21s 6d; 6 and 8 tooth ewes 22s 6d; aged crossbred ewes 12s 4d ; full mouthed crossbred ewes 16s 9d; forward crossbred wethera 20s 6d. There was an entry of 64. head of cattle. Fat steers brought £3 17s 6d to £6 17s 6d ; dairy cows £4 15s to £7 2a 6d ; fat cows £5; yearlings 27s to 303; calves 23 to 15s.
