General Booth at Dunedin.

United Press Association—-By Rlectrio Telegraph Ditnedin, April 19 There was a large crowd to meet General Booth on his arrival from the south this evening, including the Mayor and representative ministers from most of the churches, a number of members of Parliament and oihers. The General was briefly welcomed by the Mayor, and then held a meeting with the officers of the Salvation Army. He is the guest here of Mr Wm. Brown. It is understood the Primate (will confer with General Booth to-morrow. The Premier wired to General Booth today :—" The Ministry cordially invite you to be present at a reception proposed to be given m your honour at Parliament Buildings on Saturday afternoon, 29th inst. I shall be extremely pleased to hear your arrangements will permit of your accepting the invitation. Kind regards." The General replied:—" Please present cordial thanks to the Ministry for kind invitation, acceptance of which gives me great pleasure." The General has received messages of welcome from Lady Stout and other prominent colonists.
