Methvea Collie Club Trials.

Favoured by beautiful weather the trials were finished by five o'clock yesterday. Class ll—Heading, bringing back, and yarding-—was won by Mr W. WV Wright's " Darkie," with Mr McGirr's " Stump" 2nd, and Mr Urquhart'a " G-yp " 3rd. In (Jiaos lll—Kuntaway—All the competing dogs failed to score. Class IT-Driving and yarding—resulted thus •. — Mr W. Urquhart's " Gyp " Ist, Mr W. W. Wright's " Corbie " 2nd, Mr J. McGirr's " Stump " 3rd. Mr W. Urquhnrt with" Gyp " wins the Championship Cup and also the Challenge Cnp for district does, presented by Messrs McNeil and Clay of Methven, having scored m three classes 80 out of 90 points, the next cloßeat being Mr McGirr's " Stump " 68, Mr W. W. Wright's " Darkie " 64. The trials were held m the usual ground at Rose Hilt. Mr W. 0. EutherEord was judge. !
