March 9 The weather is excellent, and the attendance again good for the second diy's races. Ihe course has been .improved by the rain. Resists :—
Harrison Memorial—Tolstoi 1, Chasseur 2, 'J ho Onyx 3. Won from end to end by about five lengths Scratched—Listing. Time—lmiu 163ecs. Dividend—£2 7s.
Hurdles—Fa yon al, Volt-ire 2, Troubadour 3 The winner led froai start to finish, iitid won easily by three iengU s. All stated time—3min f §-*ecß. Dividend—£2 lla.
Hack Hurdles—The Guard 1, Waiwiis 2, VVhetu 3 A!! started. Won by a neck. Maparu and La Volta fell ab the jump in front, of the stand. Dividend -£2 9s.
Stakes—Advance 1, Coronet 2, Bueh Ro6e 3. Won all the way by six lengths, the winner being never extended f-'cratcned — TorulU, Will o'thi Wisp, Jadoo. Time, 236 Dividend—£l 11s.
