BROKEN HILL CENTRALMINE

Melbourne, June 10

At a meeting of sliaiehojders in the Broken Ilill Central mine some warm remarks were passed about the pro-* posed sale of the property. One speaker alleged that a syndicate wanted the mine for a new secret process of treatment of sulphides. They did not desire to publish the seoret to the whole world, but wished to work it in this way to the fullest advantage. MrAdams, the mine manager, explained his action in announcing the new discovery. Its probable value might be about £15,000, but he could not tell definitely, The Chairman stated that the syndicate were willing to allow the shareholders to benefit by the new find.

The shareholders of the Central Mine adjourned without taking any definite action.
