Auckland, May 10. The news that the law must take its course in the Waikomaiti murder case was announced to Scott by the chief gaoler at Mount Eden prison. The convict, who was in the exercise yard, appeared somewhat anxious when called into his cell, but when told of his fate recovered his self possession immediately, and gave no further signs of emotion,
