TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS FOR Races 4th, sth, and Bth and Agricultural Show, 7th November, at Christchurch. N the 4th, sth, and Bth, November, the evening trains from Christchurch to Ashburton, and Rakaia to Methven will start at 5.20 p.m. and 7.35 p.m. respectively, and run «orrespondmgly later than time-table times, except that the former will run quicker between Chertsey and Ashburton, arriving at Ashburton at 8.25 p.m. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7th. Alterations will be made in the ordinary time-taMeas under:— Instead of the ordinary 7.25 a.m. train from Timaru to Ashburton, and 11 a.m. train from Ashburton to Chriatchurch a train will run as under : — a.m. , a.m. Timaru, dep. 7.30 Ashburtondep. 942 Rangitata „ 8.27 Cherteey „ 10.13 Hinds „ 9 Rakaia „ 10.27 Window „ 9.16 p.m. Tinwald „ 9.28 Ch. Ch. arr. 12.15 Stopping at other stations if required, and at the Show Grounds, Addington (at 12.5 p.m.) to allow passengers to alight. The train from Springburn will start at 7.25 a.m., arriving at Ashburton at 9.15 a.m. (half an hour earlier than timetable times) to connect with the 9.42 a.m. train Ashburton to Christchurch. The morning train from Ashburfcon to Christchurch will run at the fpllowing altered times — a.m. j a.m, Ashburfcon dep. 8.5 | Rakaia dep. 8.53 Chertsey „ 8.36 | Ch. Ch. nrr. 10.48 Stopping at all other stations as usual up to Bwftham, and between Burnhain and Addinficfcon t» #et down passengers only. Stops at Show Qrgund. Addington (at 10.36 a.m.) to allow passengers to alight, The morning train from Methven will start at 7,30 «,m, and be due from Lauriston 8.2 a.m., a«-«'f?!g at Rakaia afc 8.45 a.m., stepping, at other flfe^ions if required. | The evening trains from Christchurch to Ashburton and Rakaia to Methven will tun at the following altered timas :— p.m. p.m. Ch.
