The New Plymouth Murder.
[rfik pbbss associa-ioit.] New Plymouth, October 15. The prosecution brought forward 47 wifcnesßes* nnd for the defence seventeen are expected to >>c culled. One juryman wits token illlast night, butwas sufficiently well to appear at Court this morning. Maori witnesses* including prisoner's father, could nbtbe found. The juryman who was taken ill has been examined by the doctor, who reported him suffering from gastro enteritis, accompanied by vomiting. The Court was adjourned till t>ro o'clock. The Judge said if the juryman was not able to go on, it would necessitate discharging the whole jury and beginning the case again.
