Mr T. Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday, October 11th:—There was a large entry of horses, forty-three being offered. Biddings were extremely languid throughout. By auction; and-privately afterwards, sixteen out of the day's entry of forty-three were sold as follows:—Six year old mediutti draxighfcs, £14 10s, £19 os, according to description ; four year old, of a light description, £11 10s; aged, it was very difficult j indeed to obtain bids for any of them ; inferior, £3, £3 10s, £3.105; and one of;a better stamp, £10. Light ■harness horsesmore of this class changed hands than for some weeks past; seven and eight years old, £6 10s, £8, £8 ss; others, £5 103, £7 15s ; hacks, £4 10s, £5, £5 15s ; inferior, £2 ss. Sundries—Saddles and bridles, £117s (id, £2 12s 6d; collars, hames, breeching, and cart saddle, sundry harness, etc.—the prices obtained were scarcely equal to previous sales ; set of harness brought £3 2s 6d.
