He pleaded guilty. The Magistrates fined Gardiner 20s for having been drunk, and sent him to gaol for six hours for using obscene language. Registration.— James Prendergast,, for failing to register the birth of his' , child within the statutory time, was lined 10s. Civil Cases.—M. J. Patton v. Hunter, £44 10s—Mr Crisp for plaintiff;; Mr Wilding for defendant; vsamc v. Stewart, £18 7s (kl -Mr . Curthbertson for defendant. Mr Crisp elected, to take a non-suit m each case,
