A splendid day brought together a large muster of farmers, dealers, and others, and it, fjood entry of atock m all classes made the sale more protracted than it has been for some time. There was considerable demand for freezing, which assisted to keep up the values. ; Fat Catile.—3o2 head were sold at least, a number being disposed of privately. Bust, bullocks realised up to i£9 10s, or equal to 25s per lOOlbs, and some prime heifers brought, a trifle over this, 1 while none of the beef offered brought less than 235. Stork Cattle. —Thero was a heavy entry ot store cattle, many of which wei'e ■of very poor condition, and did not change' hands m consequence. Some largeframed bullocks, m forward condition, realised up to £4 15s, and a number of small lines of young stock were disposed of. Six-quarter-olds, mixed, went at from'33s to 355. Pigs.—The entry was very small, consisting entirely of. porkers, stores, and one or two sows with litters.
