A disgraceful scene occurred m connectio with the wedding of Prince Albert of Thurn and Taxis and the Archduchess Margaret at the Imperial Castle of Buda. At the Palace, where the bride's trosseau was on show, 600 women forced an entrance, striking the police and lackeys with their parasols, and when these had been overcome, fought each other imtil the arrival of the mounted police. Quite a collection of parasol handles and hats and bonnets were swept up after the conflict.
