Temuka Dairy Factory.
An extraordinary general meeting of the Temuka Dairy Company was held m the Wallingford Plotel on Friday evening. About twenty shareholders were present, Mr Job Brown, chairman of directors, presided, and explained that the business of the meeting was to consider the advisability of confirming the resolution passed at the previous meeting " that the affairs of the company should'" be wound up voluntarily." In reply to a shareholder the chairman stated that the sale of the cheese m stock at current rates ■would leave a deficit of about £1500, against which there was the land, buildings, and plant. It was further stated, m reply to questions, that the position of the directors was that they were personally responsible for the overdraft and would willingly give place to anyone who would pay that off and take over the assets. After discussion it was resolved —" That the resolution that the Temuka Butter, Cheese, and Bacon-Curing Factory Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily" be confirmed, Messrs Job Brown and W, G, Aspinall were appointed liquidators at a remuneration of £5 each. It was further resolved as & suggestion to the liquidators that they should take the earliest opportunity of disposing of the assets of the company for the amount of th * liabilities, The meeting then closed,
