London, September 19. At the wool sales combing merinos and crossbreds were disposed of at prices five per cent above those ruling at July sales. The prices for clothing sorts were unchanged The shipping ring has reduced freights on cargo by sailing vessels to Melbourne and Sydney to 17s 6d per ton, and to Adelaide £1 per ton, The Tyser Company is being strongly supported, and it is expected there will be brisk competition for shares.
