SKIN SALE. Mr George Jameson reports: I held my usual fortnightly auction sale of skins at my Weat street wool stores yesterday. About 1120 skins were catalogued for the day's sale. There was a good attendance of Christchurch and southern buyers, and all lots submitted were well competed for. The following are the prices obtained :— Butchers' crossbreds, 4s Id to 5s 6d ; do merinos 4s Id to 4s 6d ; farmers' crossbreds, 2s 6d to 5a Id ; do merinos, Is to 4s 4d ; lamb skins, Is 3d to 3s 7d.
