Dr Pollen, m moving for leave to introduce a Bill, intituled an Act to Amend the Criminal Law Relating to Violence, Threats and Molestations, explained that the Bill was exactly similar to a measure introduced by the Government and passed m the Legislative Council m 1885, and dronped by the Government m the Lower House. In view of the recent Whiteombe and Tombs boycott, he thought \h was time the law was altered. The Bill wus introduced and read afirsfe lime, and the second reading set down for that day fortnight. MISCELLANEOUS. The Stratford County Bill was read a third time and passed. The Paliee Offences Act Amendment Bill, regulating the transit of traction engines along roads, was read a second time. MUNICIPAL.
