Timaetj, September 2. At an interview betwten the agent of Ashmore and the secretary of the Wharf Laborers Union the latter admitted he withdrew men under irritation at the Employers resolutions on Saturday, and asked that the men be allowed to go back to work. The agent having agreed to give work to the crew, would not take it from them, but offered to allow the gang to work another hatch. The secretary replied they would not work the same ship with non-union men.
