Auckland, August 28. A cable received by the Bank of New Zealand says that the meeting was most satisfactory. The policy of the Directors was received with hearty and unanimous support. The action of Mr Buckley was universally condemmed. The capital has been reduced by £300,000. New shares are reduced by 50s and old by 355. A£3 call is to be made on the new shares m the colony, so as to make them £10, the same as m England.—" Press" correspondent.
