Work was resumed on Thursday morning m a paddock below the Winchmore Homestead, and the Club were more fortunate m finding puss m greater numbers than the day before. In the early part of the day there was a rather nasty north west blow, which, however, fell off towards afternoon, and was succeeded by a cold temperature and slight rain. The arrangements were the same as on the previous day, and quite as satisfactory. In the All-aged Stakes the [ second round was got through, and the first round of the Sapling Stakes left incomplete on Wednesday was finished, and the second round got through. Many pinned their faith on Bishop Julius, but he was put out by Mr McCann's clever little bitch, and Magic II. 1 also somewhat of a favorite, had to lower colors to Pride of Erin.
