THE UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS.
Wellington, August 21 It is rumored that during the present strike the Union Company's steamers will discontinue calling at Hobart. The Hon. G. McLean left for Dunedin yesterday in connection with the labor troubles.—"Press." Dunedin, August 21. The Union Steamship Company have received information that the wharf laborers at Sydney refused to discharge the cargo of tlie Taieri, which arrived ♦here this morning. The crew of the Waihora discharged that vessel, and she was to leave for Newcastle to-night.
