The attendance was an average one, and there was good competition for any good sheep, but anything m poor condition was difficult to quit. The following were the prices realised :— Fat crossbred 2-tooth, 14s 3d to 16s 3d. In stores, crossbred hoggets, 10s Id, 11s lid, 12s sd, 13s 8d ; crossbred ewes with lambs at foot, 14s 3d; mixed ewes m poor condition, 6s 6d ; merino ewes, 6s sd. In pigs—Porkers, £1 ; baconers, £1 18s 6d. A line of fat and £ fat steers, £5 7s; old cows m milk, £2.
