The Council met at 2.30 p.m. CORONERS 3 INQUESTS BILL. Mr Shrimsld brought up the reasons of the Managers for the Council for disagreeing with the amendments made by the House m the Coroners' Inquests Bill. Members disagreed with the clause for the payment of jurors on the score of elpense. The Committee's report was adopted by 16 to 11. FIRST READING. The Westland and Nelson Native Reserves Bill was read a first time. SECOND READINGS. The Thames Harbour Board Bill and the Patea Harbour Board Bill were read a second time. „ .
