There are no further developments m the dispute between Whitcombe and, Tombs iand the Maritime Council. .No word has been received, by the, firm that the carpenters had been again called out Of their shop m Dunedin. , . = •' It waa .rumored m ChristQhurch yesterday that the Maritime Councl do not intend to "carry out the general boycott, but that they have another course of action which will,' they consider, effect their purpose without the necessity for a strike or the involving of a large number of people m trouble and distress. What this line of action is cannot be ascertained from the leaders of the labor movement m Christchuroh.
