Sir, —I would like to ask Mr Glover, through the medium of your columns, whether it is fair to come into a district • and make charges against an M,H.R. when the said M.H.R. is not present todefend himself. I do not pretend to know whether Mr Glover's charges against Mr Walker are true or not, bub I shall certainly not accept the (X parts statements of a gentleman on the subject who makes his complaint when the defendant is absent.—l am, etc., Moderation.
