[ter press association.] New York, August 7. Kremler was undaunted when placed m the chair for execution. The electric currents were imperfect, and as the contact was also faulty, three shocks, had to be applied before death resulted, but the condemned man was unconscious after the first. Portions of his. body were burnt, and smoke was seen issuing from his back.
