The Dog Registration Bill was considered in Committee, and trifling verbal, amendments made in clause 2. Mr Reynolde moved that progress, be reported. He took this step forwards killing the Bill as he considered that if passed it would deprive local bodies of a portion of their revenue. The motion was lost by- 4 fa> 21. The Bill as amended was reported, and $he third reading feed for Tuesday. The Council adjourned till Tuesday.
