Melbourne, August 6. A train ran into a passenger train at Prince's Bridge to-day, resulting m eight persons being injured. Hobart, August 6. The Colonial Treasurer delivered his Financial Statement to-day, m which a slight deficiency was shown. No important proposals are made. Sydney, August 0. The owners have declined to reinstate the firemen who were dismissed from the steamer Corinna, and have paid off' the hands and laid the steamer up. The colored crew of the steamer Janet Nicol have been discharged, but the owners refuse to pledge themselves with regard to future' labor. The wharf laborers, therefore, declined to unload the vessel.
