Mr T. Bullock reports for i;he week ending Saturday, August 2nd :— There was again a, large number brought forward, fifty-seven being offered at the day's sale. Biddings were not so brisk as on the previous Saturday, nevertheless a large proportion of the entry changed hands at fairly satisfactory prices. Medium draughts up to £22 10s and hacks of a, good stamp up to £11 10s. Out of the total number offered twenty-five were sold as follows : —Five and six year old draught mares, £20 10s, £2210s {■ six year old gelding, £20 10s; five and six year olda of a lighter stamp, £13, £15 ; four year old, £15 10s ; aged, also of a good stamp, £9, £9, £11 • others, £5 15s, £7 10s, £8 10s; inferior, £3, £4 15s ; a pair, £i; light harness horses, £3 7s 6d, £4 15s, £8; hacks, three years old, of a good stamp, £11 10s ; two year old and a yearling brought £10 10s the pair ; two year olds, unbroken and of rather a seedy stamp, £3 15s each ; four year ditto, £4 ss; spring trap, £8 10s; dray, £4 15s; collar, * hairies, and winkers, £1 5s the lot; chaff cutter, £6; seed wheat, 3s 4d per bushel; feed oats, Is 3d } sundry harness, etc., at about market rates,
