Store Cattle.—There .was a remarkably small entry, of which the greater part were old cows,and oddlots., Fat- Sheep.—About 4,500' were yarded. There was nothing special m regard to quality. The price obtained for the best was 255, but these were an exception from the general rule, which made from 16s to 20s 6d, leaving the net price of mutton much about the same as has prevailed during the recent sales,, Good freezers fetched over 2^d per lb net weigh b. PiGß.—The entry of nearly 500, chiefly prime baconers, realised good prices, 3^d being about the average.
