The Vogel Claim.
Wellington, July 28. The Government consider Sir Julius Vogel has no claim on the colony. Mr Chapman, solicitor, will probably be instructed to act with the Solicitor-General in contesting the case. Messrs Bell, Gully, and Izard have been retained for Sir Julius, Mr Bell having previously conducted the claim when it was before the Public Petitions Committee of the House of Representatives in 1885,
