BEHRING SEA FISHERY DISPUTE.
Washington, July 24. The correspondence on the Behring fishery dispute has been published. Mr Elaine, Secretary for the United States, contends that the action of the Canadian sealers savored of piracy; further, that Lord Salisbury's secession from the convention when it was almost arranged, was merely a defence of Canada's action, and a great injustice to America.
