Auckland, July 24. To-day a number of tailoresses on strike resumed work at Mcßride's factory. Enquiry shows that the Treasurer of Court Zealandia, who committed suicide on Tuesday, had defrauded the Lodge of £500 by means of a false bank-book. The Lodge, nevertheless, accorded him a Foresters'funeral, paid all expenses, and made the usual allowance to deceased's wife.
