ANOTHER DOCK STRIKE INEVITABLE.
At the annual meeting of the Shipowners Society a general opinion was expressed that a further contest between dock laborers and owners was inevitable, and it is believed that owners will take united action and close their docks. Several speakers remarked that the action of laborers was driving trade away from London to other ports.
