The agreement between England and Portugal is almost concluded. It includes internationalisation of the Zambesi. Portugal receives eight hundred thousand square miles from Angola to Upper Zambesi, and England takes the country from Upper Zambesi to Kwassar, including the Shire district. Portugal retains the district from Kwassar to the coast.
