The Rotomahana arrived at Gisborne at 10.30 last night. William McKean, miner, has been found dead in a hut at Waipori, Otago. Nominations for the Ashburton County Hunt Club Steeplechases close this evening. Thomas Spurgeon, Evangelist for the New Zealand Baptist Union, is expected to conduct a ten days mission in Ashburton, commencing on 3rd August.
