Mount Hutt Road Board.

The adjourned monthly meeting of the above Board was held on July 16th. Present — Messrs .McMillan, Browne, Hibbs, and Cameron. It was decided to fill any dangerous holes on the Broom Park road, and to make up the formation at the junction of Marr's road and the West Coast road ; also to do the work at the upper end of Gunn's road, necessary to make it fit for traffic. Tenders were opened for shingling fifty chains of the Alford Forest road, but as fresh arrangements had been made about a shingle pit, it was decided to call for fresh tenders, returnable at the next meeting ; also to call for tenders for formation of the Railway road for the next meeting. Correspondence was read from the County Uouncil, re Fpoisoned grain required. Information was forwarded from Mr P. Daley re water race ford on the Chertsey road.—Referred to the County Council. From Mr H. G. Baker re Broom Park road.—Received.—From Mr A. Purresre map.—lt was decided to get the alterations made on the present map. Circulars were received from the Industrial Associations, the Trades and Labor Council, and Mr Andrews' re poisoned wheat. The Clerk was instructed to take steps to get m the outstanding rates without delay. Accounts amounting to £138 8s 2d were passed for payment.
