The Liberal minority have, withdrawn from the Procedure Committee, and owing to their hostility Government may refrain from attempting to cany new standing orders. The situation has become confused, and it is not known whether Government will abandon the principal bills and rise early, commencing next session before Christmas, or whether they will have an autumn session.
