[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] London, July 4L> In the first innings of the Englishman Turner took 2 wickets for 26 runs, Ferris 7 for 16, and Trumble 1 for 11. ; The Australians in their second innings knocked up 13& runs 4; Lyons 20, Trott 14, Barrett 40. Gregory 23, Trumble 12. V; The Englishmen v theft ; began- > their, second innings, requiring J.40 runs to win, but were all disposed of for the poor total of 51 runs, leaving the visitors victorious by 88 runs. The wicket; was all in favoir of the trundle** and none of the local men reached double figures, though Mr Wright, the Notts amateur^ battled throughout the innings for che small score of 7 runs.. Eleven extras swere , Bcoredr against the Australians. Turner took ?' wickets for 23 and Ferris 3 for 17. ;
