The Newfoundland Diffleculty.
[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] London, July 5. The Newfoundland cruiser Finna has sailed for St George's Bay to enforce the Bait Act. She takes the Colonial Secretary and the Speaker of the House, who will inquire into the French outrages there. , Fifteen thousand ,JS"ewfoundlanders ; have petitioned the House of Commons, praying Parliament to grant them re- ' lief from French oppression. The Premier of Newfoundland denies that that colony desires annexation to the United States, and states that he is confident,of England's protection in the present difficulty. The Captain of H.M.S. Emerald states that he closed Baird's lobster factories owing to a misconception of hi < orders. ■
