William Ewart Moran, who has declared his real name to he Egan, has been charged on six informations with bigamy, and it is believed there are other cases. Accused married Emma Figg at Winchester m March, 1887, and Annie Spicer at Dover m October, 1886. Both these women are m Australia, and the Treasury desire to obtain their address. Moran asserts that he was imprisoned m Wanganui m March, 1887, under the name of Sydney Egan.
