Wellington, June 28. The Committee of the Chamber of Commerce appointed to consider the question of land settlement, will recommend resolutions in favour of expediting the Biirvey of Crovm lands,' and opening them for settlement with amendment of the land laws for securing bona fide settlers against the delay and uncertainty of the present system; also pressing Government to proceed with the completion of the survey of Native lands, and throwing those available open to settlement as speedily as possible.
