The above Hounds met at Methven on June lOfch.. After " tlurbwing 1 off" in one of the Springfield paddocks,-a hare ; was soon found, but escaped .after giving^the field a short nierry gallop. . A fresh hare was sotfn started, a good run resulting across Messrs Ulyett _ and, McKendry's properties, and thence acrpss^ ttiy Sydenham reserve to the.railway, where she was lost. The hounds, however, were taken back, and again picked up the scent in one of. Mr Ulyett's paddocks, and after a rattling run round two of Mr Cameron's paddocks, puss was killed. The day being hot, and vary trying to both horses and hounds, it was agreed that all had had enough, and^a return was made for home/ The'scent held well over the grass land, but~.it was , very, .poor on plough' and stubble.'
