Bridge, Beach Road.—The side rail of the bridge over the mill race on the Beach Road was broken by some person. We have, tried to ascertain by whom it was done, but can hear nothing definite. The damage has been repaired. Maintenance.—The maintenance man's diary lies on the table for your inspection. Clause 3.—Mr Leadley informed the Board that one of his teams going home the other evening had bolted and done the damage to the bridge. ! The report was adopted. i cochrane's road. i The Surveyors were instructed to report on the drainage of part of Cochrane's road between the Wakanui and Beach roads. RATES.It was resolved to notify that all outstanding rates will be sued for after July sth. The Clerks were instructed to place a list of defaulters on the table at next meeting. J GORSE ON ROAD 3. Resolved—" That Mr E. J. Fooks be I appointed to serve notices to land ' to grub up and remove gorse etc, growing ! on roads." The Surveyors were instructed to have the gorse on Stanley road opposite R.S., grubbed up, and charge the owner of the .section with the cost. ACCOUNTS. After passing accounts the Board adjourned.
