InMelbourne on* the 13th instant* three young men named Cameron, Hinds, and Ellis were charged with assaulting the police and annoying certain Presidents in Melbourne; Hind was fined £60 or; aeyen months hard labor, Cameron, £20 or months, and Ellis, £15 or four months.. There is now to be seen in the shop window of Messrs. J. Scaly and Co., East street, "a collection of apples showing some of theVorts grown at the nurseries, Riverbank, that-will repay inspection by any one who contemplates planting fruit plants. There ; are upwards of fifty different kinds shown, all valuable, long keeping sorts.
