, London, May 30. New Zealand mutton is quoted at 4d to 4|d; New South Wales mutton, 4d; lamb, 6d.
New Zealand Four per Cent Inscribed Stock, 106^; Three-and-a-Half per Cents., 98£. (Received June 2, noon.) London, May 31. Three months bills are quoted at If %. The English wheat market is dull: Continental steady: American shows a general decline. Forward business in Australian wheat also shows a decline in values. Cargoes, new crop, early shipment, are offering at 35s 7d. Buyers, however, are only willing to give 35s Id. Adelaide wheat, 395, market weaker; Victorian, 38s ; New Zealand long-berried, 37s 6d—the latter steady.
_ The New Zealand Farmers' Co-oper-ative Association are in receipt of the following cable message from their London office, under date May 30th :— The weather, so far, is favorable for next harvest. Improved reports are to hand of the American crops.
