The Labor Troubles.

London, May 26. The employees of the Gaslight and Coke Company have struck against the introduction of labor-saving machinery. Bismarck considers the Berlin Labor Conference was only summoned for effect, and will have no political significance.
Dunedin, May 27. At Palmerston to-day, in the cases brought against sixteen of the miners on strike at Shag Point, applications for eviction orders were granted in each case with costs of Court, but no professional fees.
■- t .. Nelson, May 28. The labour difficulty in connection with the discharging of the barque Glenlora has terminated. The agents employ Union men to unload and the work has been commenced.
