Mr Alfred Harrison reports his weekly sale as follows/: —
Cows—There was a good demand for first-class animals, and cows just calved sold from £5 2s 6d to £7 2s 6d j'aged, £3. Pigs—Large stores, 235, 255,' 30s, 30s 6d to 38s ; slips, 5s to 10s.
Houltry—Fowls, Is 6d to 2s lid per pair j ducks, 2s 6d toj3s 2d. Produce —Derwents 40s to 50s per ton; oats Is 3d to Is 6d per bushel; chickwheat 5s to 7s per bag; carrots 2s 3d to 2s 6d per bag,; onions |d, |d to Id per lb; bran 3s 6d; carcase pork, 122 lbs at 3fd 1421bs at 3|d,' 1581bs at 3jd. x A good line of ; mutton would sell well. A quantity;-6f harness sold very well. Implements—Drays £13 5s and £710s; D.F. plough £4 to £4 10s. •
A large quantity of furniture and effects was cleared satisfactorily.
