Wellington, May 9. The harbormaster at Kaipara has reported to the Marine Department that the brig " Wild Wave " for Sydney, while going out last night, grounded on the' North Spit at low water. At daylight this she was seen at anchor, waterlogged, half a mile off shore. A launch has gone to her assistance.
Dunedin, May 9. At the City Police Court, John Mordon, a youth, said to hail from Wellington, was sent to gaol for four months for vagrancy, having slept in a slable. In the ca3e Brodenck v Hislop, arising out of Company promoting at Nenthorne, the Magistrate gave judgment for plaintiff for £50 and costs.
