Josiah White was committed for trial on three charges of endeavoring to defraud creditors. The Chrlntrhnrcli Strike. Mr Eden George of Christchurch interviewed tho Railway Commissioners this morning re the cabmen's difficulty, and suggested that as the cabmen were determined not again to work under Constable Kelly, he should be transferred to another branch of the railway service without p ejudice to his case. It is considered likely that the suggestion will be adopted.
